So I feel like I’ve dived back into what was…
Feelings needing to escape and not knowing how to release.
Trying to find my Elysium, creating my own shangri-la.
Running to a place inside my own head…
But that’s what was.
This is..
Me running to someone who exists in my darkness.
Me not needing words to articulate my anguish.
Me begging for a peace that is beyond my thoughts.
Me running, not to Utopia, Elysium or shangri-la
but to Zion.
